Our guide Yamaan Safady organised, guided, controlled and smoothed the way in such a subtle and discreet manner that we only realised on the last day that he wasn’t with us any more and were reduced to milling about like a bunch of lost sheep.  We would like to complement you on obtaining his services and would go anywhere with him in the future.  He never hassled or pushed, knew the answers to almost every question (and didn’t pretend to know if he was unsure).  When the programme had to be altered slightly because of local flooding, he knew of an alternative gorge to trek down and it was absolute paradise – if anything, better than the intended route.
When we all asked him if we could alter the itinerary for our penultimate day and spend an extra half day in Wadi Rum instead of going to Aqaba, he made arrangements to do so and we did a four hour hike through the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen.  Nothing was too much trouble for him.  His sense of humour and total grasp of colloquial English welded the small group together into a family.  We can’t praise him too highly.
Every day was a masterpiece; the scenery, the weather, the itineraries and, of course, the Jordanian people themselves, made this, far-too-short visit one of life’s most vivid experiences and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
