In 2009, I received the Paul Morrison Top Guide Award, Silver. The award is now called the Wanderlust World Guide Award.

Launched in 2005 in memory of Wanderlust’s co-founder Paul Morrison, the Wanderlust World Guide Awards is the only global award for tour leaders and guides. Judges have included: Bill Bryson, Mark Carwardine, Kate Humble, co-founder of Nomad Travel Stores Paul Goodyer and Wanderlust editor-in-chief Lyn Hughes.

In a ceremony held in the Royal Geographical Society in London, on the 13th of October 2009 I received the Silver Award.
